Train of Thought

Hello and welcome to my blog!  I am here because I enjoy writing about observations and ideas that inspire me to be better and put my sentiments out in the world to learn from others.  I am a firm believer in the concept that we all hold a piece of the puzzle that helps make a greater whole picture of life, in all its intricacies.  We are more human when we take the time to clarify our own thinking and put the effort into listening with humility.  I am also writing because I miss that deeper sense of connection that letter writing and in-person time with others afforded us.  In this post-pandemic, silo-ized age of online social media, I see myself and others losing "such a central part of [us]", as one of my favorite musical artists Peter Gabriel aptly stated in the song, "Love To Be Loved".  I look forward to learning more in this attempt at the, "self-examined life", both from the writing and from your responses!
